Weather: Freezing

Today was another busy. I got up early to continue more endless reading. I took part in a group discussion meeting at eleven. I had a lecture from one to three and another lecture between five and six thirty, and also had to attend a company presentation straight afterwards.

In order to attend the presentation, I went home after the first lecture to change my suit and left the second lecture ten minutes early. It was my first time attending a company presentation, so I was slightly nervous and excited. Before the presentation began, we received two brochures and one handheld machine to be used for answering questions. The presentation was professional and full of interaction. They introduced us to some background information, and tried to build up a positive image for their company.

At the end of the presentation, they played a game with us. They asked a question, and then using the machine they had given to us we had to answer it as quickly as possible. The person who gave the fatest correct answer would win an iPAD. I knew I could never be so lucky, and I did not know the right answer anyway when they showed the last question. I just guessed one and tried to press the button as fast as possible. When they showed the answer, I was happy because it was the first question that I had gotten that evening. Then they announced the number of the winning machine. When I saw the number, I was shocked because it was the number written on my machine. Unbelievably, I GOT A FREE iPAD. I think this could have been the LUCKIEST day of my life.
